I have a 2007 Yukon with 230k on it that I bought from dealer in Feb for fair price. It is in really good shape, had been a fleet car for company owners wife. I LOVE this vehicle, and treat It well and don 't drive it long distances only around town. Before I agreed to purchase they had to change(rear?) motor mount because of rough gear change in reverse, which they did. It literally ran so smooth you couldn't tell it was started. Now I have vibration in engine that feels like engine moving up and down. Could it be other motor mounts or do the motor mounts need to be aligned ? Had dealer working on it last week and they said it was bad sparkplug #5 and bad alternator because lights were flickering with the vibrations of the engine. They replaced those. I agree both of those things were bad but engine still vibrates or shudders abnormally. Vehicle is going back to dealer to replace fill neck ( whole different issue) , should I ask them to check motor mounts ? I am willing to pay dealer service prices if they are honest , listen to me and fix the problem.
