Ok so IDK if this has somthing to do with it not starting a couple weeks ago. I just got my e-mail for the monthly report and it shows red for abs and stability control. CHeck it out and tell me what you think. Should I bring it in even though it seems ok. Or should I wait for an issue to pop up. I dont like the fact that its warning me about ABS. I dont want to think I have ABS when I dont and then lock up the brakes? Thanks guys. I just had the 18k mile check up done. there was some tranny work done to it (it was leaking and they had to replace the bell housing), but I dont know if that has anything to dow with this?

I had a bad sensor on the stabilitrak for the last 5 months I had my trailblazer and it never showed on the email. Not sure what your issue could be, but yes, I would bring it in. You could always press the blue onstar button and have them run a diagnostic test for you. I've done that a few times.

I will do that. I didnt know if they could tell me more than the report or not.

I own a Hybrid and the email report actually tells less than what the Onstar rep on the phone told me when I had them run a test. Just get in the truck, press the Onstar button and ask for a full diagnostic to be done. It takes a couple of minutes.

If the ABS is inop the abs light would be on along with "trac off". If they are not on make sure they light up during bulb check (when you first turn the key on) . Take it into a parking lot and do a panic stop to see if ABS works.

They have told me alot more when I've had onstar run the test. The representative will come back on, tell you what's wrong and how long you can drive it before causing any further problems, they will also connect you to a goodwrench service center to schedule a service date. that's been my experience with it.

One more thing. Just because the Onstar report says "TAKE IT IN NOW!!!!!" doesn't guarantee there's something wrong with the truck. When I took my Hybrid in the dealer said that the hybrid module error Onstar was reporting was something that was actually an old error that was "stuck" in the computer's memory. It had to do with the tinting shop letting my battery die and the resulting jump start wreaking havoc on the electrical system of the Hybrid. All the errors cleared themselves with the exception of the hybrid module error which the dealer cleared manually when I took it in. It's a very imperfect world we live in ......
