had a semi-close encounter with a mazda tribute that spun out in front of me this morning at 70 mph and decided to go ahead and install the front kit today after class. Rear eradispeed +1 kit is on order.
Truck is a 2000 NBS Tahoe 2wd with a 6" RCD lift kit on 20x12 moto metal 962's and 305 55 20 trail grapplers.
Parts include:
Baer Eradispeed +2 Two Piece Rotor Kit for Front (P/N 2301028)
EBC Green Stuff 7000 Series Brake Pads for Front (P/N DP71304)
Russel Stainless steel brake line kit for 4-6" lifted tahoe (P/N 695560)
Also picked up a brake pad spreader, crc brake caliper synthetic grease and crc brake disc quiet.
Pictures
All the goodies together (1 rotor not pictured)
old and busted vs new hotness
using factory calipers so the pads stick off the rotor just a smidge. shouldn't be a problem though
also had to do a slight bit of grinding on the caliper bracket and part of the spindle to get it to sit just right where i wanted it. no big deal though as i figured i might have to using the RCD aftermarket spindles.
all finished up
Now just waiting on rear parts
Baer Eradispeed +1 (P/N 2302037)
EBC Green Stuff 6000 series pads (P/N 61635)
i'll get better pictures later. but just from a quick drive around the block, braking feels MUCH MUCH better. need to break them in/put miles/break in procedure till i can post up results on how these really do.
here's a pic of the truck when she was clean
i'll upload more pics when she's clean again and the rear is done. thanks
