Ok so on my 96 gmc yukon 4x4 stock height my whole front end is in need of replacing I need to know if I have stamped or welded control arms so I can buy the parts then do it all and get it aligned. I was thinking moog everything and replacing idler arm, pitman arm, tie rod sleeves, tie rod ends, and upper and lower ball joints. Is there anything missing? Also going to replace shocks. What is a good brand for a good price? Thank you in advance for any help.

you should have a welded stamped unit but not a forged arm. moog is certainly best as well. my shock recommendations are pricey but if you can still find them then edelbrocks. the rancho adjustable s would be my second choice.

x2 on the edlebrocks .... I like bilstein and if you call them direct they can make recommendations for your needs. I have moog on all of mine. tie rods where hard to find for some reason but maybe they got that worked out. I went with a local parts store even though I could get them cheaper on line. the reason being if I have a problem the store will take care of my warranty and I can get it going sooner.

Also did all 4wd 4 door yukons come with a rear sway bar or is this apart of some suspension package?

Okay I was just curious and another thing is there are 2 different size lower control arm bushings on rockauto is there a way to know which is needed? Without removal and measuring.

both the front and rear of different sizes. the do make single ar kit that have both or you could grab the energy suspension performance kit which has it for both arms.
