Ball Joint Replacement

When any of my ball joints go out I just replace all 4 upper and lower control arms at one time. I do beat mine up off road and do not want to break anything when in the wilderness.

You got a Tahoe with the stamped steel control arms? The old style ball joints in them are just pressed in and kinda sketchy. GM quietly updated their ball joint design to what you just installed with the clip.

Yep. I got them sketchy ones.....them babies are in there..ain't gonna fall out for sure. I still got one to go one day. Got the replacement in hand. But....no slop in the one left on the truck so I will keep it on standby.

Does your truck have cast steel or aluminum UCA / Upper Control Arms?

I’ve got all four CAs (Delphi, from RA) sitting in my shop right now, waiting for me to have the time to replace them. Going to do sway bar end links at same time, and trying to decide if I want to do struts too.
