Racin4funn, Your very first post "I want to do the upper and lower joints before an alignment but they dont seem to be pressed in nor removable in anyway Ive ever seen." I must have missed your after market parts question.

Ive looked at all options. Why buy OEM and then have a problem when lifting it if a more appropriate upper can be bought. Also no After market parts reference OEM part numbers (see post 6) but they do reference steel or aluminum factory arms and state they are not interchangeable (see post 6). I did finally find why.
For any "down the road" viewers the only difference I could find was that the lower arm steel vs aluminum was the distance between the mounting holes for the strut mount. Any other dimensional differences are unknown and unstated anywhere..
