Barn Door Check Strap replacement

Does anyone know how to replace the check straps on the barn doors? I have search for advice but I haven't found any posts. I already have the part but can't figure out how to the get the old one off.

There is a clip under that pin you need to remove ( don't loose) it then just pull pin out then put
Back in reverse.

Thanks. I used a flat head screwdriver and needle nose pliers. Took about 15 minutes from start to finish.
