Sorry for the basic question, but I've been out of the car audio scene for a long long time. The one thing I do remember from way back is that a Bose system has there own little special "wiring/speakers". Having said that, all I really want to do right now is replace the factory speakers in the doors at this point since funds are low and two kids will prevent that from looking up in the near future.

So, can I simply look at what Crutchfiled states for direct replacements and go from there with direct speaker swaps? Meaning, can I pick up some Focal 6 3/4 speakers for the front and rear door and just swap them in without issue? As long as the depth is enough that is? Thanks for any and all help.

Hope if you don't mind if I chime in . If by chance your truck is a 2002 or older you can get a much better sound from by passing the amp for the front door speakers meaning front and rear doors leaving the amp to run the sub and rear panel speakers by doing this it will increase the highs and lows in your door speakers. This way you get more bang for your buck. Hope this helps
