battery light won’t turn off when turn not running

o3 chevy tahoe battery light stays on an dash light stay on when the key is out but i can get it to turn off when unplugging the blue plug on the bcm does anyone have a wiring diagram for the BCM blue plug?

I have no answer, I'm just concerned with unplugging any ECM, BCM, or TCM without isolating battery power first. Or did I misread this? One of our experts should be chiming in shortly.

I believe the issue is normally the cluster needing to be reworked. there is no logical reason for anything to show on the cluster except "mileage" when the button is pressed, ever since 2015 it shows as soon as you open the door, previous gens it shows when the button is pressed, once it has gone to sleep nothing should show at all.
I do not know of any cases where the bcm or any other module would cause anything to appear on the cluster once it is off and asleep otherwise.

LIkely have silver migration going on at the rear of the circuit board of the cluster. Will need to be cleaned with 90%+ Rubbing alcohol.

Is the light on at full brightness or just dimly lit when key is out?
