First post. I just picked up a 2009 Tahoe this weekend. Loaded LTZ; love it. When I was inspecting it at the dealership I went to look at the battery and dotdotdot there isn't one there. Then I saw it near the passenger firewall.

So, why is there an empty spot that looks like it's made for a battery? What's supposed to go there, or why was the battery moved to its current location? I've seen pictures on google so I know it's not just my truck.

Thanks

battery was moved in 2007... there are some trucks/suvs with 2 batteries and GM has cables to connect them if you want. no real reason other than probably taking it away from the front where it could get banged up in a wreck (Maybe)
