I have a recently purchased 03 7z1 and want to run my power wire through drivers side(hopefully will find this grommet everyone seems to be running their wire through), but have a 2 post battery(side posts) with the screw in type connectors. How do I go about connecting my power wire(4guage) and perform a Big 3 on it? Can I run the power wire to my Alt? What battery connectors can Ior extensions do I need to buy to perform this. Does anyone have pics to share?

All my stero equipment is from my 95 Impala SS which I had a dual post battery installed.

Any input would be greatly appreciated .

Thanks for your help. I ended up buying a longer post for each terminal at Napa of all places to add 2 guage wire to do the big 3, my amps power wire is 4 guage. These posts should house the stock cables, and the extra wiring as well. Here's what I bought just as an example through Crutchfield.

I'll swap to a dual post battery when this one dies... :)

Here's my rendition of the Big 3 installed yesterday. I used 2 guage welding wire and copper end's. It's bumped up my voltage just a tad.

Stereo install to come...

Looks good. Just make sure all the grounds are sanded down. I'd just double check that stock ground thats on the firewall.
