Hey guys
Its starting to get cooler around my parts and I noticed the Yukon was having a weak start. I looked under the hood and I have some corrosion on the neg battery terminal which is probably the problem.
I was told by a person that you should not remove the battery terminals cause these vehicles have so much electronics that its bad and can mess things up if its without power. They suggested that when you need a new battery, to have the dealership replace it cause they can keep it under constant power when swapping out a battery.
This seemed a little fishy and I just wanted to double check before I pull the wires off to clean off the terminals. Am I ok to remove the battery for 10-15 minutes to do this? By the way, its an 08 Yukon Denali XL.
Thanks
