If you do that servo, unless you are mechanically inclined I would have a tranny shop install it. I had mine installed for $65. Some members that installed theirs ended up having problems later. You have to make sure everything fits back in properly. Knowing my limited mechanical skills i figured pay the money and have it done by a professional.

^^Very good point, Earl! I'm thinking of doing this the next time I have my tranny flushed assuming they'll do it for a reasonable cost. $65 seems to be very reasonable to me.

The lowest I think I saw a member pay was $55 highest was maybe $75.

I thought that you couldnt do the servo mod on soem of the nnbs. Is that only for the six speeds like in my denali?

Yea emann, I read ur writeup on the vararam, thats actually what made me look into it. I'm gonna go with vararam, reso delete and muffler. Muffler wise, I've always gone with magnaflow so I'll prob use em again but I don't want the tahoe too loud so any suggestions on muffler that gives a deep low rumble and doesn't get too loud thru rpm's???

I've heard the mbrp system is a good one and isn't too loud.

Can't thank u fellas(and Jenna) enough!!!! Granted, I've only been using forums for < 1 year, my boys @ tyf.com r by FAR the most legit site I've found. I asked for these same ideas/opinions, on several other forums and have yet to get anything close to this! U know u ain't getting bs, when 6 diff people- give u exact same advice- on what to & what NOT to do. My bolt on performance mods r now scratched off the list, awaiting my BB tune so thank u, thank u, thank u!!!!
