CAI Just got delivered today while I'm out on a job so I'm ready to get in and install it! Torn between getting BB tune or exhaust next. I like the sound of the stock exhaust and it has a good looking tip on it but I'm sure after getting the tune I will want the exhaust in order to gain a little more power. This is the only pic I have of her right now. I'll be taking a ride when I get in from work to find a spot and get a good shot even though I haven't done anything to the exterior. Any input on tune and exhaust would be great. I'm wondering if I should simply put a magnaflow muffler and then get the tune?

If you are going to do only one, exhaust or tune, I would definitely choose the tune over exhaust. If you plan to do both, probably a better idea to do the exhaust first then get it tuned. I personally just like a small growl. I was able to achieve that with just the CAI and tune. I wanted to put exhaust on my truck but I think it'll be too loud for my taste so I decided against it. I guess it just depends how loud you want to be.

I waited until I put on my exhaust for BB tune. I can tell you from personal experience the tune changes the truck dramatically. I did the in person tune and Justin set everything up perfect.

Thanks for the input guys. I'll most likely go ahead with the tune first since my truck is new. That way I can get some use of the stock exhaust which already looks and sounds good. I've also been reading up on MJE's tunes which also use the AutoCal. I'm sure they both are great to work with and will probably flip a coin to decide between the two. Seems like most people here go with BB tune though.

Depending on exhaust, you really won't see much of a performance gain.

Looks like you have an 07+ Denali, in which the TCM is internal to the 6spd transmission, so you will need to go with the AutoCal.

We too offer the AutoCal (actually we are the number 1 seller of them) and offer free tune updates for the life that you own the vehicle (many tuners only offer a few months).
