CAI installation question

Is it normal after connecting the breather hose to the factory line with the barbed fitting for the o ring behind the barbed fitting to be exposed? It doesn't look right to me but the breather line in my airaid kit won't go as far as the o ring

Typically the breather hose has extra length allowing the customer to shorten it if preferred. Can you post a picture of the piece which possibly should not be exposed?

Looks like I'm suppose to remove the entire PCV breather line from the factory hard line but I can't get the damn locking tab in the coupling off. Any suggestions as to how to get that piece off?

Got it. Just a cramped spot and couldn't see the little locking tab I needed to unclip. Intake sounds good and I hope it helps my mpg a little. Also thanks for the info on the AutoCal Jenna. I'll definitely use y'all as I've been reading what satisfied customers have to say about the product and service.

Feel free to give us a holler if you have any questions on the AutoCal. We also sell exhausts if you decide you are in the market.
