Hey all,
I am hopeful that the dealer found the cause of my recurring CEL/P0442 code to be the bad purge valve that they replaced, and so I went ahead and put the Volant back on the truck and the BB tune in as well. Just one question, though: Is there any reason why I shouldn't run the more-aggressive "Sport" tranny file along with the less-aggressive "87 octane" engine tune? (Justin included a "91+ octane" tune when he sent the tunes to me las year, but I never installed it, not knowing if I'd get caught out sometime without access to 91+.)
I have the 87 and daily/tow (standard) tunes in the truck at the moment. I just want to make sure that the two engine tunes are completely compatible with the two tranny tunes, and that there's no such thing as there being a mis-match between them.
Thanks!
