I would like to know what you guys asked Justin to spec your tune to?
Daily driving and sport?

Do you like it to shift hard? Did you make it shift quick at low RPM or stretch? Any engine management requests I might not have thought of.

I am currently a couple hundred miles into my BBT and I don't feel satisfied. I am actually missing the way my truck was on a super chip tune, I know this should not be the case. I think I just don't know how to communicate to Justin what I need it to be. I would really like to know how you guys are running?

Help

What octane are you running? If you are not happy, Justin can look into your logs. There should be a significant difference from stock to the tune, provided mechanically all is well with your engine.

93 always

There is a signaificant differnece between stock and my BBT. The main difference I feel is in the TCM tune. It is clear when Justin makes a change in the TCM and i hope to get that dialed in properly, which i understand is not easy with a mail order tune.
I am trying to find what what others enjoy anbout their tune and get feedback from others, in order to keep my expectation realistic and be able to communicate with Justin effectively on what i would like the tune to be.

I already had a superchip tune on the truck when I brought the BBT and expected a significant difference from the feedback I saw on these forums with my BBT.
I hoped for more MPG but it has not worked out that way but I believe the main cause is the intake for that. I dont know a differnce in the ECM tune is easily identified but i dont see it any different.
I have just asked Justin to make some adjustments of the TCM yesterday.

Some of the big questions would be:
-harder/softer shifts?
-quicker shifts?

Buy me an autocal with tune and I'd be happy to write up a full review for you :)

Wise words......lol. I am not looking to get tune advise from people who don't even change their own oil. I have googled it before posting but thank you that was cool and everyone who has chosen to write about their tune has written very basic info. Many claims of gained mpg I have not experienced.
I bet a million bucks those same people would think the superchip tune was a god send also.
I purchased a autocal to be able to dial my truck in, that's what I'm trying to do.

Jenna I sent Justin a email today with my Tcm issues

Joe I was also one who didn't really see any fuel economy gains from my BB tune. This is bc of my driving style. I run 92 on my performance ECM tune and the trans tune had to be dialed in a couple times so the MPG loss wasn't horrific. The TCM tune was the greatest difference and I noticed quicker downshifts thru multiple gears. Firmer shifts and it feels like it's in the correct gear most of the time. It holds 1st to 2nd longer which makes driving in town much easier and Overall drivability is greatly improved.

Did your first and second stumble out of gear with moderate acceleration this is my biggest issue right now.
How long do you hold your first three gears?

Thanks for the reply macho.
