I need a new BCM for my 2015 Tahoe LTZ. Anyone buy a programmed one from anywhere? I did a search some shady websites show up.

I could just buy a non-programmed BCM but then I have to pay the dealer for programming. Anyone have that done?

lots of places offer bcm programming, all you need to do is look at your existing one and make sure to get the same part number
you can go used they can be re-programmed. does not have to be NEW

If you have a bi-directional scanner that is compatible with your truck, you can purchase a subscription to GMC's Tech Line Connect, and you can program the BCM yourself. A bi-directional scanner should be part of your toolkit, as it will save you thousands of dollars in diagnostics over the life of the truck.

I'm not buying extra tools right now and figuring out programming... I want it fixed easily as possible and without paying the dealer $700(thats what they quoted me). They also wat $175 just for the programming.

I found a website with good reviews that you send them your old BCM and they send you back a new one that is cloned to it, so it's plug and play. It's $250 for the whole package, I think I'll do that.

Have you tried resetting the old one, was told I needed a be ECU and bcm and reset the whole truck with a new battery and everything works fine. Think it was the bad battery causing issues. Even after a new battery still didn't work until I reset.

I know this is old... but did everything work out okay. My truck runs and drives but I have all kinds of issues with door locks, power windows (only one rear window works,) and I'm having a terribly difficult time diagnosing it. I bought a month of alldata and a powerprobe so that I could check all my motors and switches and such. Everything is getting 12v where it needs it, so I'm thinking it's gotta be comms issue between BCM and interior options like dome lights too... I have no cluster light either. Cluster works fine, just bulb went out. I'm worried I had a surge in power somewhere or a horrible ground. I'm really not sure. All this canbus/data stuff confuses the crap out of me. No codes whatsoever except airbag light which I know why and it's not related to any of this I'm certain.

Yes I was able to diagnose and correct mine. The issue wasn’t the BCM; I never ordered one. The issue was the side detection module(s) were damaged and corrupting the entire canbus making the electronics go crazy. For now I disconnected both side detection models and the truck runs perfect. I have to buy new modules later.

I’d recommend looking at module faults and disconnecting them one at a time to see if your problem goes away. From all my research into this a bad BCM is very unlikely; it’s most likely a bad module corrupting the bus.
