I used my vin to order a strut assembly from gmparts dot com. They turned out to be wrong, the three upper bolts were the wrong pattern, wouldn't fit. I figured this out wiith my car on stands and the units removed. I decided to run to oriellys and got the monroes or whatever brand it was. Installation was no problem.
The ride was super soft and the front of the truck rode 2 inches higher than the stock setup. No Squats for me, thank you.

This is when I decided to get the stock part, I went onto rock auto, used my RPO codes and got the precise shocks(not whole assembly), all the replacement bushings and a decent spring compressor tool set, all of which still came out cheaper than the full assemblies.

I used my original springs and rebuilt the setup wit zero problems.
The ride is back to perfect and the height of the front is where it is supposed to be.

I returned the prebuilt ones. And highly recommend you avoid those.
