I have a 2004 Yukon that i tend to take out offroading/camping and so forth quite often. I had a kargomaster roof rack on it for over 2 years and finally noticed that the rack was not stable... upon furthur investigation is looks like the mounting points on the roof for the factory rail system have pulled thru the sheet metal of the roof....wtf?

So anyways, is there any way to beef up the mounts for a roof rack or am i looking at going full custom on this thing?

What a pain, i figured a vehicle with a roof rack and 4wd would be build to handle a moderate load ( i never put more than 100 lbs up there..)

any ideas?
