I found an old picture of my Tahoe when we bought it back in the fall of '05. We bought it for my wife to use as a daily driver. When we found out we were going to have a baby, we bought her a minivan, and then I got to keep the Tahoe for me!! (at the time, my DD was an '81 Chevy 3/4 ton)



Here's what it looked like when my wife was driving it:

Yea I have never seen those running rails on a 2 door before. I like the look a lot better now though! Have you ever considered debadging it?

That pic was taken at the top of Pikes Peak in 2006.


I had it for 14 years. It started out with a 305 gasser, and I swapped in a 6.2L turbodiesel, 700R4, and a bunch of other stuff. I finally sold it after needing some more body work again. I just didn't have the heart to go through another paint job. I was ready for a new project.

I really miss that truck. I'm starting to wish I hadn't sold it. It's been two years since she left!
