Was searching through old posts and found one saying with Bell Tech Spindels in the front you can not run 17s. For example I am driving to Vegas in 2 weeks a 560 mile drive and want to take my 24s off and put stocks back on will I have an issue with this? any input would help.

the reason they make you go to a bigger wheel is because when you use the spindels in front it drops your lower a arms and everything to a point where they will contact the rim if you turn at all.. sometimes you can get a pretty good range of motion but most of the time you would have to modify the a arm or just do what they say and get the specified rim size.

you can run 17s. I run 17s for winter. Its just in order to run 17s you need to trim some of the lower ball joint so it would clear the rim. Same if you have 4x4, you have to trim the upper ball joint stud to clear the axle

Is there any saftey issues with cutting the bolt down like that? What if you dont have spindels and have torsion keys? Also if you used torsion keys to lower the front how do you un-due that?

no issues with cutting the bolt down like that and this is going on 10 years almost now since they released the spindle.

with keys at 2 inches your ride is left something to be desired.

So Tony are you saying that the lowering keys and spindles in the front are worse ride quality than the DJM LCAs?
