AWD and Auto ride here and I am thinking about going lower. With the drop spindles does the ride feel like stock? I'm looking to lower a little bit but not lose the stock feel at all.

Second can anybody who lives in a snowy part of the country comment on if a 2/4 drop will hinder the vehicle at all in the snow? I don't live in snow country but plan on bringing the family to tahoe for snowboarding trips often.

Me and my dad put a Mcgaughy's 2/3 drop (with spindles) on his 07 escalade which was awd and you couldn't tell a difference when he was running his factory 285/45/22s and we took that on a 22hr road trip threw a huge snow storm a few years ago in Arizona and I did amazing. We get a good amount of snow in wichita and my old 2008 had 2/3 drop with just coils and did great in the snow as well

You'll be good to go, especially with the all wheel drive.

I had a 5/7 drop on my previous Tahoe and had no issues driving in MA.

I have a Belltech 2/3 drop (I have the spacer in mine due to towing a boat). I live in Denver and drive in snow almost weekly in the winter. I drive up to the mountains to snowboard all the time. Drop hasn't affected winter driving at all.

Alright sounds good. I appreciate the real life experience feedback this forum is great. Now to figure out which 24s I want for the Escalade haha. I was originally thinking 26s but with the roads around me I think it will just lead to frustration. I'll put the stock 22s back on for driving to the mountains though.

For those dropped 2/4 with spindles how would you describe the ride vs stock? I want to keep it as stock feeling as possible. One of the things I love about the escalade is how smooth it feels even on ****** roads and 22s.

the kit that i sell along with the djm endlinks/bumpstops for free travel mod rides smooth. You have to cut bracket off the frame and the kit ive been installing and selling here for years. Belltech 5305 coils all the way for the drop your looking at and the front doesnt change due to using spindles

Got it so with spindles the factory geometry is unchanged leaving it with that stock feel. In back the djm endlinks with free travel mod n shorter bunpstops help with the smoothness of the ride. Can you help me understand what exactly the end links do? Does it reposition the sway bar or how does it help?

Also how stiff are the belltech coils? Really don't want a stiff ride. I realize going lower it's almost unavoidable but I'd like to minimize that feeling.
