Belltech Drop Kit - 2508 front - 34324 rear

All,

I'm in the middle of installing this drop kit on my '05 Denali.

I'm need to know which end of the springs goes up? Right now assuming the end with the tighter wind goes up.

I'm also interested to know if people who have experience with this kit used the 1" spacer? The difference would be a 3" vs. a 4" drop. I don't want to leave it in there to find out I want more drop.

I installed the 2508 Belltech 2" drop spindles yesterday.

Your input would be greatly appreciated.

Your right on the spring
And as for the 1" spacer
If you want a leveled look leave it out but if u want the rake upfront put it in

Thanks for the quick response godoy. Springs are in shackles are installed.

I have a question about the drivers side shock location. It looks like it rubs up against the parking brake cable a good bit. Is this normal? I have it wrapped around from the back like it does with the stock shock location.

I'm also curious about what people suggest for loctite and calipers. I did my rear brakes while installing the drop kit and want to know what people think about using blue locktite instead of red loctite. Autozone's repair guides say to use the red loctite and I have blue loctite here. I've used blue locktite everywhere.

You have a pic of shock/cable
If stock shock and cable have always looked like that and you see no wear or tear it should be fine
Red loctite is more for a permanent use
And blue is more for a semi permanent use so blue is fine

1) coil sides touching face up
2) normal for brake cable to touch i zip tie my customers lines/and mine to the lower shock extender and no issues
3) You do not need to use the spacer if you have autoride (which i think you do) you can just adjust the rear links.
4) blue is fine

any other questions just call me. Im installing the same kit as we speak on a newer truck so I can take pics of what I did. all 00-13 rear is the same set up.

FKN KILLER LOOK!!!! does your autoride still work??? if it does you can shorten the links will come down more.

Make sure that the rear isnt sitting on bumpstops if so you can cut the bracket off the frame and will come down more. What does the truck measure from ground to fenderlip in rear? On my rear 5+ kit from ground to fenderlip sits at 32.5 on 305 35 24 just wondering what yours is at.
