I dont know how you all installed them....I did mine this way because I knew I'd be hitting it A LOT on the ground and curbs...so I wanted to mount it on TIGHT!

and the deflector wouldnt be bad on yours...it would make it look lower in the front without lowering your truck....and Im sure you could have it painted if you want...might not look bad though...look at MOBs ...I like his and its not painted...gotta go...will be back soon to help ya out!

It has never chipped due to driving...that big line that you see..that was done while I was in Iraq...some dumb ass rode their bike between the garage door and my grill at my parents house...scrapped it with their handlebars... theres minor scratches matching it across my headlight...I was pissed when I saw it...and all the small chips are from when I was at Ft. Sill and had my grill off while I was working on the truck..I had it sitting up on the ground...wind picked up and drug it half way across the parking lot.. again..PISSED!!!

My buddy in the Army used to do custom paint for show cars...so he had the stuff in his garage...I even sprayed it once! :D If you were to ever see it in person...its a deep dark metalic red...very nice!

by the way...I pull over curbs all the time...and fold it completely back...tucked up underneath...it has not had any issues at all! :) just folds back out with no creases
