Belts Squeeking

Does anyone know where I can find the instructions for replacing the belts and pulley on my 2001 5.3l Tahoe...I bought all the parts but I havent found instructions on how to do it online.

its not hard, you have a belt diagram on the fan cover for the belts, for the pulley just get a wrench that fits and take the nut off. i have done both belts and both pulleys and i still have an annoying ******* squeak! i cant pin it down, seems to go away after the truck warms up

Great dude....I have the same problem and havent changed a thing yet...I have heard anything from power steering to tensioner to alternator...I have no clue why it stops after a few minutes....it cant be normal but then again thats what I thought about that clicking noise when I first start it up in the morning.

i'm thinking of doing the main tensioner on the main belt. i believe these are spring loaded and would make sense that spring inside tightens up after the truck and engine bay are warm. that is if the spring tension works like that of a wound spring expanding after it warms up??
