I've owned 35 vehicles and she's been with me the longest - close to 3 years now - when typically I average 6 months per unit. That says A LOT, ask my friends! I've tried to sell her but I can never follow through. She was originally owned in Texas until 2019 I believe and she's been in Indiana since. Luckily that means her body is in better than average shape for her age - I'd love to restore or do some preventative work to her underbody at some point. Block and transmission is bone dry and she shifts as smooth as butter. Very very minor lifter tick at start-up, but give her a few minutes to warm up and adios. I love her, I think I'll keep her - maybe my son's first car in 6 years!

Love the wheels and stance. Enjoy it.

You’re the opposite of me; I keep vehicles until I can’t anymore(beyond economical repair). The longest one I own has been for 20 years.
Typically I play it safe - fairly new and chance of warranty still intact. However, I’ve been please with this one - aside from routine maintenance I’ve only needed to throw about $1,200 at her in the last few years for oil cooler liners, new brake lines, and an intercooler. That’s a win in my book.

Welcome from Florida!

Do you run a dealership? What do you like about Berta over the others?
Yes, I’m a Sales Manager for a Cadillac dealership going on 10 years.

Hmm well this is my first SUV - I’ve typically owned sport saloons like Evo’s, STI’s, GTIs, and some coupes sprinkled in there too. So, this is entirely different, maybe that’s it.

I can say I like the commanding feel of the cabin, plush and comfortable ride, the stance is imo perfect (maybe another 1.5” in the front to level), and the simplicity behind it all. I cannot walk away without smiling!
