Howdie folks, new poster here my name is Eric... so I've been up and down on these boards trying to learn as much as I can about lowering these tahoes. as the title states I'm currently riding on Boss 330s 24x10s 305/35s all the way around. With that said I've decided I'm going with the 3/5 drop since it seems my tahoe sit higher than most other hoes I've seen out the box. so far I've been leaning towards the McGaughys 3/5 kit since I here they're built close to oem specs but my only concern is that I hear the rear sits almost an inch higher than the front.... Can someone whos had experience with them tell me if this is something that'll settlle with time? any other recommendations out there for a 3/5 kit? Ive saved up to 550 and that's really what I have to play with... thanks in advance.

I'm using the Mcgaughy's 3/5 kit and I love it quality is one of the best goes right into alignment and rides good. Mine sits at 32" in the front and 33" in the rear. And yes the rear does sit a little higher so I order up their shock extenders and that helped out with sitting it down, mine has also settled over time. I'm running 295/35/24 on mine and they hardly rub my 22s rubbed more than these do

Thank you fellas for your input! Yes I have seen those kits are popular on here but I've heard mixed reviews and honestly cant afford to fork up that kind of cash lol. Unless you tell me that The kit Tony offers is just that much better all around I just might try and save up for it but truth be told I've heard nothing but good things about MCgaughys 3/5 kit with the exception of the rear rake... I'm in between two projects rightnow so funds are tight at the moment, my tahoe being the daily I just want it to sit proper and ride well.

Wow... Beautiful ride man! So is that how the Tahoe sits after install? It looks damn good to me... If thats the case then I'm sold! Was there any modifying done aside from the kit install or is that after including the shock extenders as well?

I will say NeverSatisfied's truck sits lower than any I have seen with the McGaughy 3/5. Looks great!

This is how it sat after the drop its settled to these measurements after a day or so and I put shock extenders on it. I also took the rubber pads off the rear coils and greased them up real good and that's how it came out couldn't be happier.

Thanks for the compliments too guys

Thank you Sir! Yes the tahoe came with them... At first I hated them but theyve kind of grown on me lol.. The tahoe was a cancellation since I couldnt get what I really wanted which was an 03 Denali but I can honestly say I have grown to love this thing. Still considering taking them off or someday having them painted to match the truck. Your tahoe is looking good too.. Got a pic of the plastidipped wheels? what offset are u running..? I bought mines from craigslist so Im not sure what I'm on but Im going to assume theyre 35 or 40 et... since I dont know what offset Boss offers in these wheels all I can do is assume lol

Nice, So would you say that the shock extenders are necessary? or is it just an option? How did it sit/ride before you installed them? and are the rubber pads you speak of the free travel mod?
