What’s the best Bluetooth transmitter device to buy for an LS Suburban?

It depends on what you're looking for. Frankly I was disappointed.

I have had several Bluetooth receivers the last few years. I'm in and out of the car, so is my phone, I need it for navigation, and it's my primary source of music in vehicle. I chose to go the non invasive lighter socket route. I currently own a Roav adapter with a built in fast rate charger. It's great until you play music.

Plan on having the volume maxed. All the time. The gain is so low that you can't hear it otherwise. Maybe a hardwired kit would work better, but I will eventually move to an auxiliary connector when I have time and it's not so damn cold outside.

Amazon sells a ton of different ones, with different combinations of abilities. I tried several of them. It's been a while but it may have been a Satechi. I got satisfactory service from one that BT'd from my phone to the unit, and had a built-in FM transmitter to send the tunes on to the Tahoe's radio.

They also have them that you can plug your loaded memory card directly into that then transmits to your FM radio. I got good performance from one of those too. It may have been the Satechi. One of them was a Satechi. Maybe both.

I'm pretty sure the Satechi brand also has one that inputs memory cards, and BT, both.

All of these plug into the lighter/power port for power.
