I have a Airraid jr. installed on my Tahoe. At times the air intake comes loose. What can I do to solve this problem?

Safety wire. I had similar happenings on my kawasaki concours....leaked coolant just 2 years after replacing all the rubber and the clamps. I bought SS clamps, and because there was no corrosion to help "lock it in" they back out. If you get some safety wire, you can secure the worm screw with it.

Breeze makes some good ones, the constant torque might be worth the expense here, or even just the liner type. Safety wire is a good tip also if clamp is loosening. Thanks Derick for the reminder.

Dierk,

whats the diff on the W1, W2, W4, W5 in asst. Is it sizes, bc it really doesnt say much

these are the material specifications and the sizes are in mm, not in inches

W1 completely made of galvanized steel
W2 Band and housing made of stainless steel 1.4016 Screw: galvanized steel
W4 Band, housing and screw made of stainless steel 1.4301 or equivalent corrosion-resistant steel
W5 made entirely of stainless steel 1.4401, 1.4436 or 1.4571
