When I first put on the FM 40 series I thought it was too loud and my son told me it was because I'm old, but after a few days I was used to sound and am very happy with the 40's

Ya but I can only find the dual 2.5" In and single 3" Out in a 50 series.... I'll have to run it by the muffler shop and ask!

I replaced my exhaust a few months ago. I first started off with a Flowmaster Super 40 (2 Chamber) but after a few days it became annoyingly loud. I almost immediately had buyer remorse when I drove away from the muffler shop.

I switched it up a few days later for a Flowmaster 50-series HD (3 Chamber) and I am very happy with it. I did have a Magnaflow held up to it at the muffler shop technicians request and it really sounded surprising very good. (Never thought it would sound that good)

It was a real toss-up between the 50 Series HD and the Magnaflow, but the end result for me was go with the flowmaster because of the long standing reputation for quality.
