I'm looking to do my exhaust, with the volant intake the hoe is crying for an exhaust.

In my experience an exhaust starts with the cats...........

High flo cats are RIDICULOUSLY expensive (as much as a corsa catback)

I can get a custom exhaust done for next to nothing.

so the question is, what are the best options for a performance based exhaust with no headers, and or no cat replacement?

gonna dump over the rear axle, so it won't be seen

best option is for cats is to delete them lol. Depending on where you live that might not be practical but performance wise they are nothing but restriction. People will claim you need back pressure but thats crap. Length and diameter determine how well your exhaust performs but free flow is always good. Im still new to the tahoe world so Im not sure how you would get around your check engine light but if all else fails im sure a shop can tune it out.

ive never heard one of our trucks without cats, but i have heard MANY others without cats. once they are removed you can really hear the true sound of the engine. all of them that i have heard sounded mean as hell. and the check engine light can be turned off so it WILL pass emissions, but most states require visual inspection as well. thats when you have to hope you get a lazy sob doin ur test.
