Nothing deep, like a wiper scratch. Cerium Oxide appears to be the popular choice. Would Megiuar's Ultimate Compound be another option? In both cases, would hand apply and not use DA buffer or drill.

Or see if your auto insurance cover glass replacement. If you have any areas that make it unsafe to see correctly, they may cover it. Or, luck out like I did with a number of stone chips that worked in my favor.

$250 Deductible on windshield replace, plus insurance goes up (again) Looking for cheap solution...

Bummer. Mine is covered under a specific glass coverage rider I believe - no premium increase.

this stuff works great for hard water marks, I am sure it couldn't hurt on old glass either

Eastwood carry a product in attachment they also say there is product for bad scratches also.
