Best trailer hitch

Hi.

I want to replace the rusty old Norwegian style trailer hitch I got, with a new US style one.
Which brand do you recommend?
(You can see pictures of it in my gallery.)

Yes, it is ugly as h...!
It is something the importer here in Norway had manufactured for these trucks.

Yes, I do like the Curt hitches. But will I not need a class 5 one?
The one you linked to is only a class 3 with 6000 pounds gross trailer weight, but my truck is allowed to tow a 7800 pounds gross trailer.

My truck didn't come with a hitch, but I've been under there and the plug is present. My question is which hitch of the two above or any others you may have will sit as high to the truck as possible. I want to cut down on how much ground clearance it takes away. As I've even removed my spare from under there so it wasn't seen. Any pics and what kind it is would really help. Also I don't need something to tow around a giant trailer.

Th factory hitch has a "spacer" but the one I linked above your comment doesn't. A little more ground clearance than factory. Just know you might need a different drop in your ball then
