So I admitt, I was only looking to stay OEM due to Bose speakers and amp, and how integrated they are into the GMT800 system as a whole. I’ve seen the wiring provided by crutchfield and was intrigued. Is there any reason aside from factory aesthetics, to keep the OEM head unit or would aftermarket be better in all of the ways? I don’t care much for BT phone call ability, but I do miss the ability to play songs. The BT45Vette has gone way up in price. Are there other options beside an FM transmitter which never sound good or work well?
