Best year for nbs Denali?

Anybody know which year had the least problems for the denali model? I'm in the market for a newer one after a moron made me total my obs a couple of weeks ago . It seems like every 03 I have looked at has had the computer serviced, replaced, or reprogrammed. So experience and opinions are welcome, let me know what ya'll think.

I would say 06, but 07 would be better with the larger engine.

The drivetrain is all really equal in terms of reliability. Of course the newer the truck the less wear and tear, but that really wouldn't mean much as long as the truck has been taken care of properly. However, the main difference is in the interior, the 03-06 have a mcuh better interior than the 00-02 but the 03 still has the old carpet so 04-06 are really the ones to buy in my opinion. The 2000-2002 will still be a big step up from your OBS, so whatever way you go you'll be happy with a newer vehicle.

+1. i will never buy a 00-02 truck. The old seats lack a lot compared to the 03+

Just curious, what features does the 06 not have?

I think there are few little things, like courtesy lights on under the dash and under the hood. I like the later years of runs, as the OEM usually corrects all the "oh *****!". I defiantly don't miss the few lights on my '06 coming from an '02, if someone didn't point out they were eliminated, I don't think you would have ever noticed.

Agree I went from a 2000, YD 5.7 to a 04 6.0 YD.
Had the 2000 for maybe 2 months before traded it in...

04 is SO mutch better.

Now I gotta talk my self from trading in for a 08+ everyday...
