Big three

Hey all

need help from an expert to teach me how to do the big three mod for my 05 denali LQ9 6.0

Big 3 isn't difficult...

1- Alternator to Battery +. (I fuse mine according to my current needs)
2- Battery - to engine gound. (I connect mine to one of the Alt mounting bolts)
3- Battery - to chassis ground.

Not the greatest example- but this is the big 3 in my Suzuki. for a visual reference.

Hoping to be doing my Avy Soon- but it will be much more involved, as I'll be running dual Batteries.

why do u install fuse for the + wire

ps: i want to install the big three cuz i have some lights dimming while idle

Cuz I am overly cautious. Cheap insurance being that I have a 160 amp Alt. JUST incase I ever had a short betwen the alt and battery.

aaha will im soo gunna install one but i can see 2 fuse why ?

one for the big three and other for amp ?
