Hey everyone, really looking to run some bigger a/t tires on my truck. Either 285/75/16 or 265/75/16.

I just want to know if i should be concerned with gearing. I have 373 gears, but I really dont feel like rebuilding a tranny, can those gears handle that size tire?

Also, how much of a difference would i notice in my speedometer going with 285s from 245/75/16 (stock)?

Thanks

Your speedo will be off 4-5 MPH under your actual speed going to the 285 (33").

285s on 3.73s is perfect. I have 3.42s and run 285/75/16s with no problem.

Awesome, thanks guys.

Right after posting this I found of a set of 285 75 16 on stock rims for a good price.

Now I just need to find a set of soft 8's for them
