Biggest tires on stock 17's?

Does anyone know what the biggest tire I can fit on a stock, 07, 4x4, LT with the stock 17" wheels? I have 255/65/17 right now with the stock tire, and would like my next set to be a little bigger and more aggressive tire like a BFG A/T or something like that. Dont want to have to lift it or do too much trimming. I would be open to removing the air dam if that is all that would be neccessary. Thx.

265x70x17's fit easy. thats the the stock z71 tire size.

I'm looking for the same answer. I'd like to put a slighly larger tire on my '08 Tahoe that would fill in the wheel well a little more. The stock tires are 265/70/17. I don't want to make any other modifications other than the tires. Thanks.
