Bilstein 4600 hd's rides is stiff

I actually bought my kit locally and ordered the shocks from tirerack.com... The kit came with the shock extenders... Is there a break in time for the shocks?

Well I ask because there are apparently too different springs for the Tahoes made by belltech and one of them people don't like get tony in here lee.

The springs should have a number stamped in them.

Are these progressive or linear?

If you find the ride too stiff ...... I say revert back to stock shocks...... and compare how you like the ride then.

If you like the ride then your Bilsteins are too stiff for you.

I know that the BT SP are softer than stock shocks. They are also low pressure by design.

I bet it's that you don't have the 5305 spring.
I believe you need the spring labeled 5305-2.

It says 5305-001 on the spring and have 305/35/24 tires...

Explain the stiffness you are feeling. Describe it I mean..

Nosho there are a few that like them while others say they are to stiff. Even with the non 5305 (stamp doesnt matter) what might ride great to some people might not to others. Shoot me a pm ill go over a few options.

Hate to bring up an older thread but I am curious the outcome of this. Did the OP end up liking? What was the final set up?

I plan to run the beltech 2/4 and bilstein 4600 and this thread has caused me to postpone my purchase

The ones you offer in your 2/3-2/4 kit. Are ones better than others on the 2 you mention belltech offers.

**Note I am 2002 bodystyle, but saw this while researching belltech drops and bilstein 4600s**
