2002 Tahoe 2WD:
I just replaced my two stock Nivomat rear shocks with Bilstein 5100 shocks. Also replaced the coil springs with the Bilstein 199021 springs. Ride is MUCH improved, but now the left side is higher than the right by 1.5".
I made sure to align the springs into the pockets, top and bottom, and a quick inspection confirms it. The upper coil spring isolators were missing (bottoms were there), so it's metal to metal on the top. I can't imagine this is the issue. Pic of an isolator is attached.
Twisting the spring shouldn't matter, right? The pocket is symmetrical.
I did notice that one spring is upside-down, but I was pretty sure the springs were symmetrical. Could that be it?
