I'm going to use keys/spacers and z71 coils in my Tahoe. I want to take out the autoride and replace the shocks with bilsteins. Looking online, I can find the right ones for my Tahoe, but I think I will need longer ones than the replacements since I'm lifting about 2"

I know quite a few of you have gone the bilstein route, do you know which shocks you purchased? thanks

Do you know the part #s on your front and rears?

I will post some more pics soon as I get a chance to clean it up and take them. I put the 5100s on the F/R at the same time. You need parts # F4-BE5-C153-H0 (Front - Chevy) & F4-BE5-6682-H8 (Rear - Dodge). Take a look at this key & spacer link.

I came across this thread:

Those are old part numbers.

Should be: 24-186643 Bilstein &
24-185783 Bilstein

The rears are a part number for a dodge truck shock, they are ~.6" longer collapsed and ~1.75" longer extended than the p/n for a the 5100's on a yukon, which only allows for 0-1" lift.

I just bought a pair of the 83's on amazon. $75 each with free shipping. Going to have to wait for my next paycheck to get the other pair :(

Those rears you have listed are also a GMC part number, for a Yukon with a 0-3" lift. Not that it matters much, it might make someone a little more comfortable knowing that though.

Good to know. The bushings are the same, so that's not a problem.
