I purchased a new 2018 Yukon Denali in Jan 2018 and have been having issues with several major scratches on the bumper areas only (never on metal)

It started on the rear bumper (lower portion only) and then happened on the rear plastic quater panel.

Looks like claw/ animal scratches. It does not go in carwashes.

Dealer thinks its an animal, but not sure.

I have attached photos and if anyone has any similar experience....any ideas are welcomed.
I have read that some of the new plastic components have soy in them and attract rodents.

I had a 2015 yukon denali in white and never had this issue occur.

I hand wash all vehicles and usually see issues pretty quick.

Do you park outside at home or work. If so set up a camera.
Thanks, I do park outside and have set up my nest cameras to watch it.
So far there has not been any additional scratches.

Appreciate the suggestion, its a a good one.

Damn that sucks man.

It does seem to look like an animal. However, if since setting up your camera(s) there are no new scratches that develop, I would bet that it is not an animal. And either a.) someone seen you setting up your camera(s) or b.) your camera(s) are located in clear visible sight...

Hope you figure out what’s going on.
