I see that many of you have used the BLACK BEAR Performance.

I am curious to find out what you all think of it and what it all has done for your vehicle. (Power Increase, MPG, etc.????)

Furthermore I am wondering what would be the best option for my truck?

I am thinking the "TRADITIONAL TUNE", but am not really sure. I am also wondering if you guys recommend for me to send in MY PCM in order not having to do the "crank re-learn".

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Tune is always a +. Never had work done from bb, but I'm sure they'll hook it up right. I had a local shop do mine, all I have is cai, servo, muffler and I noticed a difference. Gl with your tune

Honestly, I don't know much about it but I've heard only good things. I'm also planning on getting a BB tune in the future.

I wouldn't have thought of that but good point Felix.

It's one of the most effective mods when combining with the tune. When I got my in-person BB Tune for my Tahoe I made sure I got an AIRAID CAI prior so I wouldn't have to get it re-tuned :Handshake:

There are different locations depending on if they can get enough people to go to the meet. A $50 deposit is put in to secure your "spot" but if enough people don't sign up then they refund the money. Option #2 is to get an AutoCal for ~$550 and you actually plug it into your car and let it "log" one of your driving sessions. This log file can then be saved to your computer. After you save the file to your computer, you email the file to Justin over at BBP. He will make the custom tune for you based on your log. After that you upload the custom tune from your computer to the AutoCal. Once it is on there you can upload the tune from the AutoCal to your vehicle. BAM. Custom tune :Handshake:

Then just go to a BB Tune meet which is $250 (50 deposit and 200 at time of tune). They meet all the time in TX. That's actually where I got mine (Woodlands, TX). I'm pretty sure i've seen Oklahoma too. Go check out their schedule at www.blackbearperformance.com

Well, all this seems pretty highly sophisticated and pricey as well.

I guess I will revisit this at a later time.
