Yeah those tires are Cooper Zeon LTZ's. They ride great and I love the way they look. Thanks for all the compliments!

Sorry to revive such an old thread, but I was wondering if these rub at all? I'm looking into getting this exact wheel/tire setup, but I don't want anything that's going to rub...

They rub just a little going up inclines while turning. A little trimming or heating and bending the wheel well back takes care of it. Only rubs in the rear from what I can tell. Still love the setup!

Those rims and tires should not rub at all in the back with regular street tires, especially with the LTZ liners.

I had that same setup on a Denali and the only rub was a tiny bit if the truck was on a forward incline at full lock backing up ... basically I heard it rub a bit a couple of times the whole time I had them.

Not what I was hoping to hear :/. My question is, how does it rub in the back?

So you're saying that although they can rub, it's not like an everyday thing? Also, when a tire rubs like that, does it damage anything? Sorry for the stupid questions, lol.

I've got the same tires on GM 22's. I rubbed, I trimmed in the rear and did a little bit of fender liner heating. You WILL rub on the front sway bar at full lock and at odd angles in the rear.

This tire would be great if you were doing a small lift or leveling kit but if you're looking for that street look in hind sight I would of gone with the same tire size in something like a Nitto 420s.

Don't get me wrong these meats are huge! I love the look but if you want to be low then absolutely don't go with these tires. Lifted / leveled / stock with some trimming then yes!

But no it does not rub everyday just at odd approach angles in the rear and on the front sway bar when your steering wheel is at full lock. This is not damaging anything, but again not ideal. No rubbing is ideal. I love them. Wearing great and look ****.

Before I did the heating / major trimming

That's correct, as long as they are regular all season tires you will not rub under normal driving conditions. And in the rare occasion it rubs, it will be just the front liner and damage nothing.
