Black Interior?

Anyone kind of sad that the hoe never came with a black interior? I'm really in love with the look of an all black interior so I'm thinking about getting seats reupholstered, painting the plastic parts/door cards in black vinyl paint and getting the headliner and carpet redone. But Done tastefully so it doesn't look like a depressed 16 year olds room in 1997. Anyway my question is has anyone done anything like this yet?

I've also been looking into this. My sub is blacked out on outside, minds as well match it on the inside! Are you looking for write ups or just pictures?

Living in Northern Cali where summer temps do hit above 100 degrees, I have never missed a black interior nor would I ever buy a black vehicle, as it is brutal having to sit on black upholstery after a vehicle has been sitting in the sun.

I've seen one member do it before it was a few years back and I can't remember his name. He had a progress thread going with lots of pics. It came out beautiful, it's white with black interior.

Couple guys have black interior done on this forum. I would say search, but i had a hard time finding them a while back.

Katskin makes new seat leather that replaces the stock. I'm sure they could be special ordered in black. That should at least speed the process up and you know they would fit and be quality. I know they make a spray dye for the plastics and a I've thought of doing my headliner in black suede myself. Hell I'd just use spray glue and do the dash and whatever you could do in black suede/alcantera/microfiber whatever it's called when they use it in a car.

Nah it's cool. I'll just put in my recaros from my old car in once I find the time to make some custom rails for it.
