a guy here local is selling his brush guard and nerf bars from his OBS, and I was gonna jump on them. They are both black, and at first thats what I thought I wanted to go on my white 2 Door Yukon. But then I started having doubts.

I used to think that you had to match your accessories with the finish of your bumpers and wheels, but I'm just undecided on what to do. Both my bumpers are the stock chrome bumpers, and my wheels are for the time being the stock rims. I'm going to replace them within a few months with some polished alloy wheels.

So what do ya'll think would look best on my truck? I really don't think a chrome brushguard would look good at all, but what about chrome nerf bars?
I can get just the brushguard or just the nerf bars, either way.

I don't plan on painting the yukon a different color anytime soon.

I sound like a woman: "do I look good in this color?" :supergay:

black>chrome on a white truck in my opinion.

NEVER been a fan of chrome brushguards, just doesn't seem right.

Chrome for me. Black powedercoat rusts and pits too easy and turns to shit faster, That might not be the case for you in Texas though.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I had always thought I would go with black on my white truck, but I saw a picture of a white Tahoe with a black Ranch Hand full bumper/grill guard and chrome nerf bars and it got me confused.

to have a little chrome and a little black never hurt anyone, but to each his own. you make YOUR truck how YOU want it to look.

black x10 ! i think chrome is sorta "thuggish" looking if you get too much...black is easy to repaint if needed, where as chrome will flake up and shit. i, personally, am going with black myself..

I agree with you, TeaDubya2011. Black is the way to go. For one, it is easy to find, easy to purchase, and easy to repaint on. I did mine myself and got all the things I need from an auto accessories shop I found online. Hope you got this one done looking the way you wanted it to.
