HID plug-and-play kits like mine are extremely easy to do but you need to be sure to start with good quality projector headlights to start with. The factory Denali's are decent, as are Depo's and I found the Spyders are too. However most of the other aftermarket ones are crap and will not work good, and might even blind oncoming traffic. HID retrofits where you remove the projector assemblies and replace them with ones made specifically for HID are way harder to do. The best way is of course the more difficult method. Mine have decent cutoff lines and actually light the road well but not as well as a full retrofit.
