are the 5100s a good match for stock height trucks? Where did you get the different springs?

i got my springs from summit. you can ride around with them. i did for at least a month. it was just a bouncy ride. what suspension does your truck have? nivomat, air, etc?

i dont know if the 5100s are good for stock height or not.

I have stock suspension - no auto ride or anything - I changed the shocks once at about 50k miles, dont even remember what I put on (Monore's?)

Was looking to do the HD shocks - probably leave the springs stock..

5100s are great for any level truck. they are just more popular with the leveled/lifted trucks

im in the automotive aftermarket manufacturing field. we only build stock replacement to true OE spec. im heading up a strut program we are starting and have been doing a study on monroe replacement shocks. they are junk. they make a lot of mistakes with shock valving and half of their springs are wrong rate. you will love the either bilstien when you mount the compared to monroe.

steve, what are the 5100 part numbers? i lost them on my old computer.

What is the ride difference or any difference in the HD's vs the 5100's? I do a lot of towing - but truck is stock height. Also would be wondering on the P/N for the 5100's on a 03 4x4 Tahoe. Thanks!!

Yes, i find nothing about the 5100's to fit my truck anywhere... None the less - what are the differences between the 5100 and the HD's
