That’s odd. My rear had problems for years, I never really cared, just didn’t bother using it. It never caused any issues with the fronts. I had to calibrate the fronts and in fact replaced all of them over the years. Then I got around to replacing the rears last year. Everything is working now. I’m not saying that wasn’t your problem but IMO it’s unlikely. Good to hear it’s all working now though, that’s all that’s important.
I completely agree - it doesn't make any sense to me either. However, the results are odd that once the faulty actuator was removed and replaced everything started to work. Could have been coincidence but thought it worth mentioning either way for others to consider.

I have a follow up question for you guys..Is it possible that the climate control switches are causing an issue with the actuators not working correctly? I am wondering because I got what I believe to be the correct part and the issue is still happening. So I removed the actuator and left it connected to the wiring. When I move the temperature control from hot to cold the actuator does not move. I disconnected the battery for about 30 minutes, reconnected it and then turned the key to the point before starting the vehicle. I left it sitting to see if the recalibration would do anything. It appeared to move a bit but then stopped. Still no movement when turning the temp controls. I thought maybe that control cluster is having issues. Before I order anything I thought I would reach out to you guys for your thoughts.
Thanks RobertTahoe for this. I replaced the fronts and after a few weeks, they started with noise again. The rear has been noisy for about a year, and yesterday with a new cold snap, it stopped working for heat, only blows cold. As Rocket Man said, I just let it ride - wasn’t really bothered by it until now.

I’ll try and replace the rear, recalibrate, and see if that help.

Cheers, D

P.s., will advise if I have happy news...
